After the grueling weeks of reading, researching and writing down my articles for the magazine, I feel compelled to think of the next topics I can write for the next issues. I do hope my boss is happy to receive them. It sure is a good start….I have told Sir Jay that I would rather not write and I would rather just keep on reading…but he’s right. It is indeed better to share what I know, to write them down, to influence more young individuals to inquire further, to think critically and to explore more opportunities that they can perceive from what they read.
So, yes, I am inspired to write more…to feature more. What do I have in mind? Hmmm…let me write them down…
1. A feature on Mayor Robredo
This government official is a rarity. I still am waiting for his answers to my e-mail. It was good that he said yes to my invitation for a feature in the magazine. The youth will be surprised. We still have (and yes we do) government officials who govern responsibly and sustainably.
2. Book reviews?
I would have wanted to do this. I have to find books that are suitable for secondary school students though. Well, given the list I have to read (and the new books I purchased) I think this will have to wait a few more months. I am eager to finish my readings first.
3. More website reviews?
If my first article about this one will be a success and I get good feedback, I will continue reviewing websites which students can visit and use as guide for assignments and projects.
4. China
I love reading about China. Perhaps it is good to write about the Beijing Olympics or the hutong? Or about Peter Hessler’s experience and his point of view? Or the other side of China? Hmmm
5. India
Yes, I do love reading about China and similarly I do like readings about India, too. These two countries will become the next superpowers! Yes, I believe that given the developments now. So, yeah, maybe something about India, too.
Ok, I am sleepy. Good night, world!
