Today marks the birth of my blog here at wordpress. This is an attempt to write about anything I want to and to digitally document my experiences this year and in the years to come. I will still keep the traditional means of journal writing. Whatever I believe can be something worth reading and worth sharing to everyone else will be written here.

To begin my blog, I wanted to share this nice photo of red roses. I have unearthed it from the hundreds of photos I have stored in one of my old CDs. It belonged to the photos sent to me by Kasik, my Polish friend. She went to Ireland with Tom, her husband, and a few other close friends for a two-week summer vacation in 2006.

I am sharing this photo here because this photo reminds me of the beauty of life.
